Invitation til CIOR Young Reserve Officers Seminar

The Latvian Reserve Officers Association and the Naval Force Training Centre under the patronage of the Ministry of Defense of the Latvia cordially invite you in cooperation with the YRO committee to the:

CIOR YOUNG RESERVE OFFICERS SEMINAR

The topic of the workshop is NATO's New Strategic Concept and its Implications for new Member States  

During the workshop you will be addressed by various military leaders from NATO countries as well as have the opportunity to participate in workshops prepared by CIOR’s Young Reserve Officers.  

The working language of the workshop will be ENGLISH.  

Aim of the seminar is to set focus on NATO's New Strategic Concept and its implications for new member states through briefings by competent guest speakers and group discussions.  

Furthermore the seminar will introduce participants to the different NATO activities through a role play, where the participants have to convene in a Military Working Group in NATO and work in the NATO way of work, using the polite NATO language IOT practice negotiation and communication skills in an international environment.  

The objective of the workshop is to provide young reserve officers the opportunity to share their experiences as well as learn from their fellow servicemen and women from NATO countries and expand their knowledge about the work of NATO and its alliances.
